It’s over
Summer at UNLV is officially over. Today was the last day. We are now on a two week vacation before fall 2009 starts. I have all my classes ready to go.

Summer Saturdays at UNLV
This summer UNLV is doing something kind of cool. If you are going to be a new student at UNLV and want to learn more about the school then come spend a Saturday with us!
August 8,15,22 and the 29th from 9:30 -12 pm will be days when you can go on to campus and explore around with expierenced staff. They will answer any questions you have and give you a free tour.
They will also feed you lunch! If you are going to start this fall then I totally recommend this to you. This is a great way to kick off your time at UNLV.

Money is an issue
I remember growing up thinking, how will I go to college if I have no money? I always hoped that I would get scholarships so I would not have to take out loans to pay for school. The good news is that UNLV is not that expensive. It is pretty cheap if you are a Nevada resident. If you are from out of state then it will cost a lot more. It is way less expensive than a huge university like Harvard. I love UNLV tho. I think that it is better than a huge university. UNLV is in my home town and it is full of real people. We have great professors that care about their students. Money is an issue in choosing what college to go to but in the end, you should go to the college that will make you happy.
Perfect Concert
Are you a college student that loves to go to concerts? I love to go to concerts. There is going to be a free radio Disney concert this summer. It is going to be happening in Wildwood, New Jersey at Morey Pier’s. The concert will be taking place in August. While your there you can also check out the New Jersey water parks. You will need to find Wildwood New Jersey hotels for your stay. If you wanna go to this concert then you can turn the trip into the perfect Jersey Shore beach vacation for you and your family.
Weather
So in case you didn’t know, it is really hot at UNLV. When the fall semester starts, it will still be really hot.
